Smartphone giant Vivo on Friday launched Y69, company’s latest product, once again targeting selfie phones segment. Priced at Rs 14,990, Vivo Y69 16-megapixel front camera with a Samsung S5K3P3ST sensor, f/2.0 aperture, Techook.com reports. The new phone Android 7.0 Nougat operating system, aided by company’s Funtouch, and sports a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The company also boasts exclusive features in a front camera such as Moonlight Glow light, the company is touting camera modes on the Y69 like Bokeh, Group Selfie, and Live Photo. On processor’s part, the phone is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6570 SoC aided by 3GB of RAM. With the front camera being device’s primary focus, Y69 also sports a powerful 13-megapixel rear camera with a Samsung S5K3L8 sensor, dual-LED flash, and an f/2.2 aperture.
The device features 32GB of inbuilt storage, expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. On connectivity part, the device supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro-USB. Y69 is powered by digital compass, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. Y69 weighs 162.8 grams and measures 154.6×75.7×7.7mm.
Techook.com reports that the device will be an online exclusive smartphone and will sell on both the major e-tailers of the country, Flipkart and Amazon. The phone is likely to get tough competition against the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and the Moto G5 Plus amongst other devices.
