Boston Dynamics’ new machinery, a four-legged robot-dog is something that is straight out of an apocalyptic movie and will definitely give you the creeps. In a video released by the company depicts a SpotMini, Boston Dynamics’ flagship robot, opening doors. The video shows the four-legged robot, helping another robot by opening the door and letting it get out of the room. Even though opening a door might just a small feat for the humans but it is a great feat to achieve for robots in the field of technology. However, this has raised a lot of concerns among the netizens. Boston Dynamics is a start-up and is owned by SoftBank. Until 2017, Boston Dynamics was owned by Google.
This version of the robot, SpotMini, by Boston Dynamics is basically a small version of the original robot dubbed as BigDog. This BigDog was initially designed and conceptualized for the US army. However, the US Army had shut down the offer from the company as it was ‘too noisy’ for them.

In the episode, a four-legged robotic guard, known as a “dog” is shown chasing a group of people eventually killing them.

for years my answer to the “dog vs cat” argument has been “show me black and white footage of police cats attacking minorities and ill admit dogs are better”. guessing the arrival of robo the future death mutt will ultimately end the debate. thanks boston dynamics!
