Micromax Canvas Pep at Rs 5,999 with 1.3GHz quad-core processor

Micromax today launched its Canvas Pep smartphone at a price of Rs 5,999. The Canvas Pep sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA 480 x 854 pixels along with a 5MP fixed focus rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front camera. Running on a 1.3GHz quad-core processor CPU with 1GB RAM.

The 3G smartphone will be available in Pristine White and Mystic Blue options and comes with connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi and USB. The device runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS and is powered by a 1,700mAh battery.

V-Moda launches professional headphones in India

V-Moda, makers of high-fidelity professional headphones, has entered the Indian market in an exclusive partnership with Indian distributor Ferrari Video and it’s retail brand called Headphone Zone.

The current line up of V-Moda headphones that are available in India includes the Crossfade series starting at price of Rs 12,990 and includes their flagship Crossfade M-100, available at Rs 24,990. The range of headphones include Over-Ears – Crossfade M-100 & Crossfade LP² and On-Ears – Crossfade M-80 and the XS.

Designed in Milano, Italy, all V-Moda headphones uses Kevlar reinforced cables along with SteelFlex Headband. The headphones are covered by a two year manufacturer’s warranty.  The Crossfade M-100, is V-Moda’s flagship headphone is available in Shadow, Matte Black Metal and White/Silver. It is claimed to be the world’s first crowd-sourced headphones, created with inputs of hundreds of audiophiles, journalists, producers and DJs around the globe.

Other accessories in their product range include, The BoomPro Microphone that caters to Gamers, the CoilPro Cable for DJs, the Faders VIP Earplugs that serve as noise blockers for Professional Musicians, XL Memory Cushions and the Testa Headphone Stand.

Intex launches Aqua Star II at Rs 5,999

Intex Technologies today launched its Aqua Star II smartphone at a price of Rs 5,999. It sports a 5-inch FWVGA IPS display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. Ruuning on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat operating system, the device runs on a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731) CPU with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB.

It mounts an 8MP rear camera with flash and a 5MP front camera. The dual-SIM smartphone supports 3G connectivity and is powered by a 2000mAh battery. The device will be available in White, Black, Blue and Grey colour options.
