Sony has unveiled is NW-A35 Walkman in India at a price of Rs 15,990. The new Walkman features the Digital Noise cancelling technology. It also has NFC and Bluetooth support. Sony promises that the device will provide a battery life of up to 30 hours if high-resolution audio is played, and if mp3 audio is being played then it goes up to 45 hours. The internal memory is 16 GB and can be expanded up to 128 GB. The NW-A35 Walkman device supports wireless playback also. It has the S-Master HX digital amplifier. The device has five POSCAP capacitors which upgrade the power supply for the S-Master HX digital amplifier so that the distortion and noise with respect to a wide range of frequencies are reduced.
According to Sony, the device has a couple of clock oscillators which provide optimal modulation for sampling frequencies of each content which results in better sound quality while music is played. The all-new Walkman features the Digital Noise cancelling functionality. This feature regularly analyses ambient sound of the environment and chooses the best noise-cancelling mode. This essentially means that you will not have to change the volume continuously while listening to music.
Sony NW-A35 Walkman weighs 98gms with dimensions of 54.8 x 97.3 x 10.7mm. It supports NFC and Bluetooth in order to connect wireless speakers and headphones to the device. The device features a 3.1-inch touchscreen display with an intuitive user interface and has keys on the side for added controls. The device only comes in a Black colour variant. The device consists of a 3.5mm Stereo Mini-jack audio output. It also enhances features by Dynamic Normaliser, Clear Phase, DSEE HX, ClearAudio+, DC Phase Linearizer, 6Band equaliser and VPT. Sony Walkman supports the following formats: MP3, WMA, FLAC, Linear PCM, AAC, HE-AAC, Apple Lossless, AIFF, DSD 2.8224MHz.
