Samsung has also launched another variant in the J-series, called the Galaxy J7 Pro, but the J7 Max comes close in terms of price with the Nokia’s device. So, comparisons are inevitable. Also in the list, we have included the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, which is a very popular device in the segment, and the Chinese company is known for introducing features at much lower prices. SAMSUNG GALAXY J7 MAX: Samsung Galaxy J7 Max is priced at Rs 17,900. Samsung Galaxy J7 Max will be available starting June 20. Samsung Pay Mini payment solution is coming to the new J-series smartphones as well, starting with Galaxy J7 Max. Company’s Pay Mini payments solutions will support payments via UPI and wallets like Paytm. The Galaxy J7 Max sports a 13MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and LED flash. The front camera is 13MP as well with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash. Other features of the camera include Instant sharing on social as well as augmented reality (AR). It runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. Samsung Galaxy J7 Max features a big 5.7-inch display with Full HD (1080p) resolution. Powered by a MediaTek chipset, Galaxy J7 Max packs 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The battery in Galaxy J7 Max is 3,300mAh.

NOKIA 6: Nokia 6 is priced at Rs 14,999. Nokia 6 sports a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display, metal unibody design. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage (expandable to 128GB). Nokia 6 with 4GB RAM + 64GB variant is not coming to India. Nokia 6 sports a 16MP rear camera with f/2 aperture and dual tone flash. The front camera is 8MP with autofocus, f/2 aperture, and 84 degrees field of view. Nokia 6 is backed by a 3000 mAh battery. It supports WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1 and supports USB on-the-go as well. The smartphone has a fingerprint scanner on the front.
XIAOMI REDMI NOTE 4: The 3GB RAM (32 GB storage) comes with a price tag of Rs 10,999. The 4GB RAM (64GB Storage) variant comes at Rs 12,999. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 comes with a massive 4100 mAh battery and the company claimed it to be 25 percent better than the erstwhile Redmi Note 3. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, which uses the new 14nm FinFET technology. Apart from the metal build of the handset, the novel feature that the Redmi Note 4 has is that it supports USB Type-C port. It is Xiaomi’s first smartphone to have the new reversible slot. The new smartphone runs Xiaomi’s latest MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is powered by a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 coupled with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU, which is expected to improve performance and reduce battery consumption. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has a display of 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) with 2.5D curved glass and 401ppi pixel density. Both the variants of the storage capacity of 2GB and 3GB RAM models can have expandable storage via microSD card (maximum of 128GB). With the feature of PDAF (phase detection autofocus), the phone has a 13-megapixel rear camera and the option of f/2.0 aperture. It can record 1080p videos at 30fps. The front camera of 5-megapixels, which according to Xiaomi, can click wide angle shots extended to 85-degrees.
