Reliance Jio’s LYF Wind 4 to be launched soon, priced at Rs 6,799

Gearing up to kick-start 4G services this year, telecom operator Reliance Jio would soon introduce entry-level handset LYF Wind 4 priced at Rs 6,799.

Gearing up to kick-start 4G services this year, telecom operator Reliance Jio would soon introduce entry-level handset LYF Wind 4 priced at Rs 6,799.

The dual SIM phone, equipped with 4,000mAH battery, comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory. It has a Digital DTS Surround technology, a five inch LCD display, Reliance Jio said in a statement.

4G telecom operator Reliance Jio recently opened up its services for general public on trial basis but a person will be able to buy its SIM only after getting invite from employees of Reliance Industries group firms.

The LYF handset are currently available in the price range of Rs 5,599 to Rs 19,499.

Brokerage firm CLSA had recently said Reliance Retail’s LYF smartphone could become a USD 1 billion brand in 2016-17 and corner a market share of about 7 per cent.
