The photo-editing app Prisma has taken the world by storm. Here, we go wild with the app, with stunning results
HAVE YOU ever imagined yourself as a work of art? How would you look if, say, Pablo Picasso were to paint you? Now, thanks to the new photo-editing app, Prisma, you can find out. As per its official website, the app transforms a user’s photo into ‘a work of art’ by using filters inspired by the styles of famous artists like Vincent van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Isaac Levitan, among others.
Sure, there are plenty of photo-editing apps available today, but what makes Prisma different is the fact that, unlike others, it uses a combination of neural networks and artificial intelligence to turn photographs into art pieces. Users can share the ‘artwork’ on their social media accounts and also save the edited photograph on their devices. As of now, Prisma offers close to 30 styles, or filters.
Available for free on Apple App Store and Google Play Store, the app has been developed by Prisma Labs. Since it was launched on the App Store in June and Play Store on July 24, it has seen more than 10 million downloads globally, as per reports online.
Here, we apply the app to photos of some famous celebrities, monuments and events with stunning results…
