China based mobile company Oppo has launched two two new flagship smartphones in its R11 series, an Indian Express report said. Both R11 and R11 Plus sets are considered as successors to the R9s and R9s Plus. Even as the pricing and availability details has still not been announced, both smartphones are likely to hit markets in China in few days . There is no information on international availability of smartphones as of now. The Oppo R11 Plus set consist of a 6-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. It is powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor, along with with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage.
As per the report, the internal storage can be expanded through microSD card slot. The mobile set is is backed by a 4000mAh battery with VOOC fast-charging support. The company claims that it can charge the phone to at least 75 percent on a 30-minute charge. On the other hand, the R11 mobile set has a smaller 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920x1080pixels. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 660 processor along with with 4GB RAM, 64GB of native storage and microSD card support. The set is backed by a 2990mAh battery.

Both Oppo R11 Plus and R11 consist of a similar camera module i.e. 16-megapixel camera with a 20-megapixel sensor and wide angle lens. The sets will will offer a Portrait mode awhich can be seen on the iPhone 7 Plus. The front-camera is a 20-megapixel shooter. Both smartphones also include Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, GPS and Bluetooth 4.2 . Both smartphone sets run on Android 7.1 Nougat with ColorOS 3.1 over the top. Currently, the Oppo company is fourth-largest smartphone player across the globe,behind Samsung, Apple and Huawei. As per IDC, in Q1 2017, the company has captured a market share of 7.9 percent, the paper added.
