OnePlus One has announced Android Marshmallow update on CynagoenMod OS 13. OnePlus One on its forum Friday wrote , “Our friends over at Cyanogen have informed us that CM 13.0 (ZNH0EAS26M) based on Marshmallow will drop starting. The rollout will be staged so only some of you (random) will get it at first, and as always, patience is appreciated.”
OnePlus One Android Marshmallow update was originally promised to arrive in the first quarter of this year. Cyanogen is implementing Android Marshmallow’s battery saving Doze mode along with the new permissions models to its OS. It should be noted that Cyanogen had an option to limit permissions for apps before Android natively introduced the same.
OnePlus One sports a large 5.5-inch LTPS (Sharp’s Low Temperature PolySilicon) IPS display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution. The device runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and you can either have the Cyanogen OS 12 or OnePlus’ proprietary OxygenOS on it. The One is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and features a 13MP camera along with a 3100 mAh battery.
