Nokia, a giant in the mobile manufacturing market, is all set to make a comeback as it is gearing up to roll out new devices at the Mobile World Congress 2017 in (MWC 2017) in Barcelona. HMD Global which now owns the Nokia brand will be conducting and event on February 27 and has sent out media invites for the same. At the event, Nokia could announce some Android devices and before this, the Nokia 6 had already gone on sale in China. Meanwhile, a YouTube channel named ConceptCreator has put out a video which gives us an indication what the latest flagship smartphone, Nokia P1 could look like.
In the video, one can see that the smartphone consists of a metal frame and glasses on both sides, and devoid of bezels on either side. There is a small Home button on the front which might also work as a fingerprint scanner. The camera at the back does not disappoint, as it contains Nokia’s strong point, the Carl Zeiss lens and with triple flash. Apart from this, there is a headphone jack, USB Type-C charging port and dual stereo speakers.
This next smartphone by Nokia will feature a 5.3-inch IGZO display and a refreshing rate of 1 to 120 Hz alongside a Corning Gorilla Glass on top. The smartphone is expected to run Android Nougat 7.0 and powered by the Snapdragon 835 processor. NokiaPowerUser had earlier reported that Nokia China had confirmed on Weibo that the company has been working on a smartphone which will containt the Snapdragon 835. The phone will have 6GB of RAM and a battery of 3,500 mAh power along with the QuickCharge 4 technology. The device will also contain an Ultrasonic fingerprint reader.
However, this flagship device will come a little later, since according to reports, the supply of the Snapdragon 835 chips has been delayed. While the company has already made a comeback with its Nokia 6 smartphone in China which became a craze.
