Moto X4 has been launched at the IFA 2017 in Berlin. The mid-range Motorola smartphone will come with a dual camera setup and other in-built smart features. The Lenovo owned company has come up with a mobile where the camera is the main highlight, not only because there are two of them at the back, but also because they are ‘smart’. The Moto X4 features dual rear cameras with 12 megapixel and 8-megapixel sensors and also has smart features which can recognise objects that are clicked. This essentially means that the camera in the smartphone can identify things and use them accordingly. For instance, if you click a picture of your business card, the phone will automatically use the information in it to add it to your contact.
When it comes to specifications, the Moto X4 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset. The phone runs the Android 7.1.2 Nougat. It features a 5.2 inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920. The screen is LTPS IPS one which comes with Corning Gorilla Glass on top. The Corning Gorilla Glass is on the front and rear end of the mobile as well. The X4 display has a pixel density of 424PPI. In terms of build and design, the Motorola device contains an anodized aluminium frame and 3D rear contoured design. The processor is an octa-core CPU clocked at 2.2 GHz. It is an Adreno 508 GPU.
In terms of storage, the Moto X4 comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory. Users can extend the storage to 2TB using a microSD card. The phone features a 3,000 mAh battery. Motorola has claimed that the battery will last 6 hours power on charging for 15 minutes only. The smartphone comes with a 15W TurboPower charger. It should be noted that the Moto X4 is a single-SIM smartphone.

Meanwhile, on the camera front, the selfie shooter is of 16-megapixel capacity along with a front flash. The cameras come with Face Filters as seen on Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat. The mobile has a Dual Autofocus Pixel technology which gives quicker focus in low-light conditions. The is no OIS on the rear cameras.

Interestingly, Motorola has added Amazon Alexa support for Moto X4. It is a voice activated assistant made by Amazon. However, since the Alexa itself has not launched in India, it is unlikely that the smartphone will come with this feature in India.
In terms of connectivity, the phone can add upto 4 Bluetooth devices with it. The Moto X4 is of 148.35 x 73.4 x 7.99 mm in terms of dimensions. It weighs 163 grams. The phone is water and dust resistant too.
The Moto X4 has been priced at EUR 399 in Europe, which comes around Rs 30,000 in India. However, the company has not revealed its price in India as of now.
