Moto G6 family will house a body and camera similar to the Moto X4. The devices will have a metal-and-glass design wherein the glass will be mounted on the rear side of the devices.
Lenovo brand Moto is expected to launch a slew of new devices under its X, Z, and G smartphone lineups, which were leaked in a multitude of images earlier this week. The Moto G family is said to add new entrants – Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus, and Moto G6 Play. In the previous leak, all the three devices were said to sport a 3D glass back along with full-HD+ displays and dual camera setups, as seen in the marketing image renders. We now have press renders of the devices giving a clearer look and additional details. The Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus, and Moto G6 Play are expected to debut at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 in February.
As seen in the press image renders, spotted by Mysmartprice, the Moto G6 family will house a body and camera similar to the Moto X4. The devices will have a metal-and-glass design wherein the glass will be mounted on the rear side of the devices. The display size for all the three devices will be larger than the previous-generation counterparts. The Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play will have a 5.7-inch full-HD+ display while the Moto G6 Plus will house a bigger 5.93-inch full-HD+ display. The display will carry an 18:9 aspect ratio. Apart from this, the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Plus will have the fingerprint sensor embedded on the front, while the Moto G6 Play will feature the fingerprint sensor on the rear side.
The Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus, and Moto G6 Play leaked press renders reveal specifications that go in line with the ones reported earlier this week. The Moto G6 is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC coupled with either 3GB RAM/ 32GB or 4GB/ 64GB configuration. There will be dual cameras with 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel resolution on the rear side while the front side will sport a 16-megapixel camera. The camera islands are said to be similar to what we saw on Moto X4 devices. There is a 3000mAh battery expected in the Moto G6.
The Moto G6 Plus, as we mentioned, will be the larger variant with a 5.93-inch 18:9 full-HD+ display but with same resolution as on the Moto G6. The smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor. The RAM/ storage models of this version will be similar to the Moto G6, however, a top model with 6GB of RAM can also be expected. The Moto G6 Plus will have a 3200mAh battery under the hood. Another variant, the Moto G6 Play will have the biggest of them all. While all the other specifications are said to be identical to Moto G6, the Moto G6 Play will pack a huge 4000mAh battery.
