HTC U11 available with a massive discount of Rs 5,991 in India; here’s what it costs now

HTC U11 is now available with a discount of Rs 5,991 in India. After the discount, the HTC U11 will now cost Rs 45,999 for two colour variants – Sapphire Blue and Solar Red on Flipkart. The HTC U11 was originally launched at a price of Rs 51,990 and available online via Amazon but it later began selling on Flipkart, where the discount is currently available. Besides, Flipkart is offering an exchange offer up to Rs 18,000 on exchanging old smartphones.

The price cut of Rs 5,991 brings down the effective price of HTC U11 to Rs 45,999. Out of the four colour variants, only the Sapphire Blue and Solar Red colour variants are available to purchase on Flipkart while the other two are out of stock. We have reached out to HTC to comment on the price cut whether the price of HTC U11 has been permanently slashed in India.

On top of the discounted price, buyers can avail an additional discount of 5 percent while making the payment via Axis Bank credit card. The HTC U11 was launched last year in June featuring the Edge Sense technology as its biggest USP. The handset recently began receiving the Android 8.0 Oreo as a part of HTC’s roadmap to push Android 8.0 Oreo to its devices. It was launched running Android 7.1 out-of-the-box with HTC skin on top.

The HTC U11 sports a 5.5-inch Quad-HD display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the top. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable up to 2TB via microSD card. For photography, the smartphone houses a 12-megapixel camera with HTC’s UltraPixel technology, a f/1.7 aperture, 5-axis OIS, and EIS. There is a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the device with a 150-degree wide lens for group selfies. It packs a 3000mAh battery under the hood.
