HP launched the DeskJet Ink Advantage 3700 all-in-one inkjet printer in India on Monday.
HP launched the DeskJet Ink Advantage 3700 all-in-one inkjet printer in India on Monday. The hardware company claims that the DeskJet Ink Advantage 3700 is the smallest printer of its kind. The printer can be operated using a mobile app and is available for sale at Rs 7,176. The DeskJet Advantage 3700 is said to be half the size of all its competitors in the same class. HP claims that the printer has also been optimised for use on social media.
The printer can be used for Facebook and Instagram with the HP social media Snapshots app. Using the app to control the printer, the user can print and share pictures from Facebook and other social networking sites. The users can also print pictures from their handset’s camera roll with the HP mobile app. The HP All-in-one Printer remote mobile app has been made available on iOS, Android and other OS such as the Windows. It enables features such as scanning, printing and wireless copying from other smartphones.
Parikshet Singh Tomar, HP’s printing systems Director, in an interaction with the media, said that the consumers of today desire wireless devices that seamlessly fit into their lives and enable them to stay connected. He claimed that the HP DeskJet Ink Advantage printers have been designed to evolve the conventional printing experience with its new and innovative technology and provide connectivity to smartphones from any social network.
The company, it seems has targeted various age groups in the society as it says that the printer has been designed to fit in with the requirements of students, parents among others. The DeskJet Ink Advantage 3700 printer is available for sale in Electric Blue, Sea Grass Green, and Cardinal Red colours.
