The Reliance JioPhone had opened for pre-booking on August 24 but was suspended the next day. This was probably because of a huge demand of the Jio 4G feature handset and it resulted in a lot of interested buyers feeling left out. However, there no need to panic yet, as Reliance will open the booking process again, though the exact date for the same remains unknown. Apart from that, there is a little confusion among people who have already booked the 4G mobile by Jio on August 24 and the day after that. People have been asking when and how will they recieve their Reliance Jio Phone. While we expect the company to start selling the devices from the first week of September, here are two ways you can check the status of your Jio Phone, where you can also know the date of delivery.
JioPhone status check via SMS: If you have already pre-booked the Jio Phone you must have received an SMS from Reliance. This SMS should contain a transaction ID number along with the quantity of devices you have registered using this same mobile number. In the same message, you can find the number 18008908900. In order to check the status of your JioPhone and when it will arrive, just call on this number. Remember to call it only from the registered SIM. After you call it, you will be guided by an automated voice. Follow the instructions to know the status. However, right now it is not providing the requred information. As of now the voice at the other end says that the user will soon recieve an SMS regarding the booking and JioPhone updates. You will even get an SMS for there too the date is not given nor is the name of the store from where you will get the device.
JioPhone status check on website and app: In order to check the status of the Relaince Jio 4G mobile, you will have to downlaod and install the MyJio app. Once installed on your phone, go to the ‘Manage Booking’ tab. Here, you need to put down details like your registered mobile number and an OTP. Now, there iwll be a ‘My Vouchers’ section on the webpage. Initially the status field is blank. But when the company will start shipping the JioPhone, this space will showcase the date of arrivval and the Reliance store where you will have to go to get the device.
In case you could not pre-book the Reliance JioPhone, the website is still giving you an option of registering your interest in the mobile. Once registered, you will get a notification when the sale begins. The website has provided a form for the same and there are two options to choose from-individual and businesses. You will have to enter details like your name, email, mobile number, company, GSTN/PAN (for businesses). You will have to mention the total number of devices need for your business. Now, you will be done and the company will send a message saying that it will tell you when the JioPhone goes on sale yet again.
