Honor 7X offline availability announced, Red Limited Edition to go on sale from February 9

Huawei Terminal brand Honor has announced that the Honor 7X will now be available via the offline partner stores in India, in addition to the online channel. The Honor 7X 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage model can be purchased through Honor partner stores across the country costing Rs 15,999, which same as the online price. Besides, the Honor 7X Red Limited Edition that is currently listed on Amazon India has now received a price tag and shipping date – Honor 7X Red Limited Edition will go on sale at 1 pm on February 9 at a price of Rs 12,999 via Amazon India exclusively.

The Honor 7X has so far been available via the online channels – Amazon India and Honor online store. The company is now foraying into the offline retail market to reach out more buyers through the partner stores across India. There is no change in the price of the Honor 7X 4GB RAM/ 64GB variant that is Rs 15,999. Recently, the company said that it has partnered Flex, a Sketch-to-Scale solutions provider, to manufacture the Honor 7X at its plant in Sriperumbudur near Chennai.

A couple of days ago, Honor teased the new red colour variant of Honor 7X – Honor 7X Red Limited Edition – that was coincidentally listed on Amazon India as well. The Amazon listing of Honor 7X Red Limited Edition revealed the price of the smartphone while the availability details were not given. Honor has now announced that the Honor 7X Red Limited Edition will go on its first sale at 1 pm on February 9 at a price of Rs 12,999. The specifications of this variant are as same as the original variant. However, as the name suggests this variant will be available in limited quantities of around 20,000 units, the company says. Almost every mobile company is trying to build a hype around the upcoming Valentine’s Day by launching special red colour variants and Honor just joined the list.

For the specifications, the Honor 7X comes with 5.93-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor coupled with 4GB RAM. The handset comes with 32GB and 64GB of internal storage options, which is expandable via microSD card up to 256GB. The Honor 7X bears a dual camera setup on the rear side having one 16-megapixel primary and one 2-megapixel secondary sensors, along with an LED flash. There is an 8-megapixel secondary camera on the smartphone. The Honor 7X comes with a 3340mAh battery and runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box with the company’s EMUI skin on top.
