Google will launch the new Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones tomorrow. One day ahead of the launch, famous tipster Evan Blass has leaked the pictures of the two mobiles. The event is scheduled to be held in San Francisco on October 4. The leaked images were posted from Blass’s Twitter account ‘@evleaks’. These images give us a better idea of what the new Google Pixel phones will look like. While there is no authenticity of the pictures, but Blass is known for releasing correct images, including the ones leaked before the previous Pixel and Pixel XL devices.
Evan Blass, in a Venture Beat report, said that the new smartphones will come to the market from October 19. He said that first the Google Pixel 2 will go on sale and then from November 15, Google Pixel 2 XL will hit the stores. Based on earlier reports, the Pixel 2 may be priced around $649 and Pixel 2 XL could cost you around $840. Google says that both of them will be premium flagship devices, which means that they will directly rival the newly launched Apple iPhone 8, 8 Plus, and iPhone X.
What do the Google Pixel leaked images show? The pictures show that the new phones have a similar two-toned design of half glass and half metal on the rear end, as seen on the previous Pixel phones. According to the image, both the smartphones do not seem to have the dual camera setup, which is surprising since most premium mobiles have that feature now. The fingerprint scanner is still at the rear end of the device.

The Google Pixel 2 XL is not entirely bezel-less like the Apple iPhone X or the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. However, the bezels appear to be quite thin. It is interesting to note that LG has been rumoured to be the manufacturer of Pixel 2 XL phone, and the display actually looks like the LG G6. It seems to have a taller display compared to the Pixel 2.
The home button on the device is missing. When it comes to bezels, the Pixel 2 does have more prominent ones on all sides. The leaks also reveal some other specs, like the Pixel devices, run the Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB RAM, has 64/128GB storage and a 12MP rear camera.
