Google doodle is all set to welcome 2016 with birds chirping around an egg that looks ready to crack at anytime.
The interactive doodle brings back a popular cartoon trope with its depiction of five birds on a wire. One can see birds ready with hats and party popper waiting for an egg that has 2016 written on it to crack. While one of them keeps a constant eye on the ticking clock, the others appear to be just waiting for something to happen.
The doodle navigates the viewers to the search page of the 2011 hit ‘New Year’s Eve. ‘From India’s saddest moments to the Paris attacks to recently released Star Wars flick and the discovery of water on Mars and everything in between is what this page contains.
with a shaking, bouncing, nearly-hatched egg that says 2016 where the sixth should be.
If you’re expecting a big reveal, however, you’re going to have to wait a few more hours. As Google says: “Check back tomorrow to see what will hatch in the new year.”
While one of them keeps a constant eye on the ticking clock, others are just waiting for the New Year to come.
