According to a report by India Today, the sale started at 12 noon and Nokia 6 which is also the first Android phone by HMD global reportedly went completely out-of-stock in just seconds. When this phone was up for sale the last two times, on August 23 and August 30, something similar happened as the device went out of stock in a few minutes. In case you missed out on the phone, don’t be disheartened. The next sale will be on September 13.
Amazon had also given a couple of offers for the customers who wanted to buy Nokia 6. The Amazon Prime members were given Rs 1000 off if the payment was made using Amazon Pay balance. Apart from this, the Vodafone users were given an additional data of 45 GD while signing in to Kindle app will give users 80 per cent promotional credit of ebooks up to Rs 300. Nokia 6 was launched as an online exclusive item on Amazon by HMD Global. It is priced at Rs 14,999.
The smartphone has a metal unibody design and comes with Android Android 7.1 Nougat. However, the company has already promised an Android Oreo update for Nokia 6, according to a report by The Indian Express. The phone also has dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos technology for enhanced sound performance.
It comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Nokia 6 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and comes with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB ROM. It has a 16MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 8MP selfie camera and a 3,000mAh battery. You can expand the storage to 128 GB by using a MicroSD card slot.
