Coolpad’s smartphone Dazen 1 priced at Rs 6,999 sold out within few seconds on Snapdeal

Coolpad’s Dazen 1 smartphone which was on sale today on Snapdeal at an affordable price of Rs 6,999 got sold out within seconds.

Coolpad’s Dazen 1 smartphone, which went on sale today on Snapdeal at a price of Rs 6,999, sold out within seconds, according to the company. The company has sold 10,000 units of the smartphone.

The sale, for which registrations were made necessary, began today at 12 noon. Coolpad had made over 1 lakh registrations for the first sale of Dazen 1 smartphone, as per the announcement made last week.

Introduced on May 28th, Dazen 1, priced at Rs 6,999, is the ‘most affordable’ 4G LTE smartphone in India.

Commenting on the success, Varun Sharma, CEO, Coolpad India, said, “We are extremely delighted to see this kind of response. I am sure consumers would love the Dazen 1. Our India journey to success – has just begun!”

* Processor: 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor
* Ram: 2GB of RAM along with 8GB of built –in storage
* Camera: 8 megapixel rear camera with a f/2.2 lens and LED flash; 5 megapixel FF front camera
* Battery: 2500mAh

Dazen 1 is available in sand stone black and baby snow-white colours. Backed by rigorous R&D, Dazen phone will have extended battery up to 50% with patented technology.
