Carl Pei, one plus co-founder retaliated at the rumours about the company working on a Mini Smartphone, OnePlus 3. Pei through his twitter handle quoted a report claiming the same and said, “No. #Rumorsshutdown”. The speculations came after a GFXBench listing. The GFXBench listing had revealed a new device with features similar to that of OnePlus 3. According to the features listed in GFXBench, OnePlus 3 mini has a 4.6 inch screen. It has an full HD screen, resolution 1080 x 1920. It also has 16 MP rear camera, and an 8 MP front facing camera with 6GB RAM inside along with 64 GB internal memory. There is a slight difference in the size of the screen and in the core and the speed of the two devices but except from that, all the other features are similar to that of OnePlus3.
Similar rumours had aired after the release of OnePlus 2. The phone with similar features was speculated to be the mini version of OnePlus 2 and was called OnePlus Mini, the new phone had however turned out to be OnePlus X. Carl Pei this time around has waved off all the rumours relating to OnePlus 3 mini and has denied working on any such phone. Here’s the tweet
