BSNL offers: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited on Thursday introduced its ‘KOOL’ offer for its prepaid customers. The company will offer unlimited 4G data access, voice calls (both local and roaming) and 100 SMS per day for Rs 1,099. The offer will be valid for 84 days after which the customers will have to get the pack recharged. The state-owned company, to tackle the ever-growing competition in telecom market, has introduced a number of eye-catching offers over recent weeks.
Under the ‘KOOL’ plan, BSNL will provide unlimited data daily, which means there will be no FUP limit for the customers. Another freebie of the offer is that prepaid subscribers will also get access to Personalised Ring Back Tone (PRBT). Talking about the new offer, RK Mittal, Director – a member of the BSNL Board said, “We are committed to providing affordable and efficient services to our esteemed customers. BSNL introduced ‘KOOL’ offer for Rs. 1,099 suitable for all segment of society and empowers family & friend to be in touch.”
Recently, BSNL had revised its free Sunday calling benefits. In its revised announcement the company has extended the free Sunday calling benefits until April.
BSNL earlier used to provide free Sunday callings from 10:30 pm to 6:30 pm but mid- January, the state-owned company changed the timing to 9 pm to 7 pm. According to PTI, SP Tripathi, Chief General Manager of Calcutta Telephones (CalTel), which is Kolkata unit of BSNL, revealed that there are new plans in the pipeline to reduce the impact derived from the shutdown of free Sunday calls.
Meanwhile, after Airtel, Vodafone and Jio, BSNL now launched its mobile 4G service in the country. The first circle to get BSNL 4G network is in Kerala.
