BSNL has unveiled a new voice and data plan called 'Plan 429'. Under this plan, the prepaid users will get unlimited voice calls and 1GB data per day for 90 days. So basically, you will have to pay just Rs 4.76 per day to get unlimited voice calling and 1 GB data.
The contest between telecom operators in India is getting interesting with each passing day and the public is benefitting in a big way. Earlier, Jio gave mobile data and free voice calling at unbelievably cheap rates. To compete with it, Airtel announced new plans at affordable rates and now BSNL has unveiled a new plan which will give prepaid users unlimited voice calls at really incredible rates. Who’s gain is it? Well, of course, the consumers. According to a report by The Indian Express, BSNL has unveiled a new voice and data plan called ‘Plan 429’. Under this plan, the prepaid users will get unlimited voice calls and 1GB data per day for 90 days. So basically, you will have to pay just Rs 4.76 per day to get unlimited voice calling and 1 GB data. Isn’t that amazing? Wondering how to get this plan?
Well, to get Plan 429, all you need to do is go to your mobile operator and recharge your number with Rs 429, post which it will be eligible for free voice (local/STD) on any network along with 90 GB of data (at 1 GB per day) for 90 days on PAN India basis (except Kerala Circle).
“This Voice & Data Centric Plan is available for Rs. 429/ ie Rs. 143/ per month which gives unlimited voice (Local/STD) on any net and 90 GB data ( @ 1 GB per day) for 90 days, which is the most competitive plan in present market scenario,” said R.K.Mittal, Director (CM) BSNL, in a press statement, according to the IE report.
This plan has been introduced by BSNL only days after Airtel came up with low price plans starting at Rs 5 which goes up to Rs 399. In its Rs 399 plan, Airtel offers unlimited local, STD calls on Airtel and free roaming outgoing calls along with 28GB data (FUP is 1GB per day) for a period of 28 days. In the Rs 349 plan, you get unlimited local and STD calls along with 28GB of data (1GB per day FUP ) for a period of 28 days.
