With smartphone makers coming up with the almost bezel-less screen on their products, Blackberry is all set to make a smartphone that will head to India. As per the latest leak, the Blackberry’s new smartphone will have a bezel-less display. With a codename, ‘Ghost’ Blackberry has surely got the hype around their next smartphone. As per the leak by Evan Blass, the ‘ghost’ smartphone will be made by Optiemus, a Delhi-based company who got in a licensing agreement for marketing and manufacturing of BlackBerry smartphones in India. The tie-up was announced in February 2017. Evan Blass, on Twitter, shared an image which highlighted the sharp design of the Blackberry Ghost. However, there is not much can be unearthed from an image shared by Evan Blass, but what we know so far is the fact the new entrant from Blackberry is headed to India and will have almost bezel-less design and it will run on Android.

This looks like a promising entry from Blackberry in the Indian market, however, there is still no specific timeline for the launch from the company. What we can be expected that this smartphone may very well be an India specific phone as the company TCL has the license to manufacture BlackBerry smartphones across to world except for India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Indonesia and Bangladesh.

It was back in 2016 when Blackberry decided to stop making its own smartphones and decided to have a streamlined focus on software segment.

With no pricing, no specification list and no timeline for the release, all we can do is wait for the smartphone from Blackberry. But, the first look at the smartphone does look promising with clean edges and what seems like a bezel-less display.
