Apple iPhone 8 launch event: Apple CEO Tim Cook has announced the launch of iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, Apple Watch Series 3 and the 4K Apple TV. The iPhone X has face recognition technology and the iPhone 8, 8 Plus have better cameras. Apple is hosting the event in Cupertino, California. The launch event started with Apple showing off the new Steve Jobs Theater in the Apple Park Campus. After months of rumours and leaks, Apple is all set to finally unveil its 10th anniversary iPhones as well as some major updates in Apple Watch and Apple TV. However, the key focus will be on the iPhone X, an all new premium smartphone from the technology giant. It is probably going to be the company’s biggest launch in years. Apple is also expected to reveal two upgraded versions of the previous iPhones, namely iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. In terms of price, reports have suggested that the iPhone X could be priced as high as $1,000 dollars, which could be available in India for over Rs 1 lakh. 12:29 PM: Apple iPhone X price starts at $999. It will ship from November 3. Meanwhile, iPhone 8 is priced at $699.
