Apple is all set to launch the all new iPhone at an event tonight at 10:30 PM. The new Apple devices will be launched in three variants- iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X. Other than the much-anticipated iPhones the tech giants will also launch a new company campus called the Apple Park and the keynote speech will be held at the Steve Jobs Theater. Apple will mark the 10th anniversary of the iPhone by announcing a grand new device with many new features. While the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus mobiles are expected to be the upgrades to the iPhone 7 series, the iPhone X will be an all new smartphone. Apple’s event for September 12 is scheduled to take place at 10:00 AM Pacific Time (PDT). Indians will be able to witness the event at 10:30 PM. The company will conduct a live stream for the event as usual. For that, users need to have the Apple HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) technology. This means that Apple device users will be able to catch the live stream on their own MacOS or iOS phones and laptops. For iOS users, they need to have Apple iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with Safari on iOS 9.0 to catch the keynote speech.When it comes to Mac, users need to be on Safari on macOS v10.11 or later. All you need to do is to go to Apple’s website and click on the tab which says: ‘Apple-events/September-2017’.

Meanwhile, Apple TV 4th generation users can also stream the event directly from their television screens. For 2nd and 3rd generations, users need to have upgraded to software 6.2 or later. Also, Windows 10 and PC users need not be disappointed. They too can watch the event on the Microsoft Edge browsers.

Apple iPhone X specifications: While there are still some doubts hovering over the name of the new iPhone. However, most reports have indicated that the latest device will be called the iPhone X, where the X is the Roman numeral which indicates the number 10. Recently an iOS developer Steve Troughton-Smith found the reference to the name in the iOS 11 software. Others reports have indicated that the iPhone X will be a totally bezel less smartphone. The phone will come with a glass body (front and back), steel frame on the side and a 5.8-inch OLED bezel-less display. Apple will reportedly remove the popular HOME button from the front. Instead of a touchID, the iPhone X may get a face recognition technology. Additionally, leaked pictures have suggested that this time the iPhone may see vertical dual rear cameras unlike the horizontal ones on the iPhone 7 Plus. When it comes to the storage, the iPhone X will come in 3 models, 64GB, 256GB and 512GB. In terms of price, the iPhone 7 could be priced at $1000 or even more, which in India could result in a price tag of over Rs 1 lakh.

Apple iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus Specifications: Based on rumours, the Apple iPhone 8 will feature a 4.7-inch LCD display and the iPhone 8 Plus will come with a 5.5-inch screen. Other than that, we may see a few feature introductions on the iPhone 7 upgrades. It is unlikely, but a possibility, that Apple may get the wireless charging technology for these smartphones. Meanwhile, the iPhone 8 still may not see the dual camera this time too.
