At CES 2018, TCL brand Alcatel unveiled three new smartphone ranges – 1, 3, and 5 – under which it launched Alcatel 1X, Alcatel 3V, and Alcatel 5. The company has now added a new model to its 3 smartphone lineup – Alcatel 3C. The Alcatel 3C has reportedly been launched in Italy with entry-level specifications such as 6-inch HD+ 18:9 display, 8-megapixel camera, and 3000mAh battery. The smartphone will be available in three colours – Metallic Black, Metallic Blue and Metallic Gold. The Alcatel 3C price has been set at 129.99 euros (roughly Rs 10,200).
The Alcatel 3C is a dual SIM smartphone that runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8321 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone sports a 6-inch HD+ (720×1440 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It has 16GB of inbuilt storage that can be further expanded via microSD card up to 128GB. The specifications of Alcatel 3C have been revealed by an Italian website Android HDBlog.it.
For photography, the Alcatel 3C is equipped with an 8-megapixel camera on the rear side along with an LED flash. There is a 5-megapixel front camera on the smartphone. Below the rear camera sits the fingerprint sensor. The Alcatel 3C packs a 3000mAh battery under the hood. The connectivity options in the device include 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth v4.2, and GPS. Strangely, the device does not support 4G connectivity. The dimensions of the device are 161x76x7.9mm and it weighs 169 grams.
According to the website, the Alcatel 3C is offered with a 30 euro credit that can be redeemed on Chili Cinema website, that is claimed to contain over 800 titles. The redemption period lasts until September 30, 2018.
