'I think if you keep working hard and following your dreams, you can accomplish everything you set your mind to.' Google CEO Sundar Pichai said.
Every tech geek of today will remember a time in their childhood where they would have wanted to work at Google, not only because of the cool feature we have always heard about it but also because Google is practically everything on the internet. As a child when asked what do you want to be when you grow up, we say a lot of things, ranging from doctors and pilots to engineers and cricketers. Meanwhile, some innovative kids have interesting answers too. One little kid has made up her mind that she wants to join the global tech giant Google, and guess what CEO Sundar Pichai replied, and it is all kinds of cute. If the letters exchanged between the 7-year-old Chloe Bridgewater and the ‘Google boss’ does not make you go weak on the knees, we can’t say what will.
‘Google boss’ as it is mentioned in the letterhead, Sundar Pichai replied to the little girl, who is really smart and well read. Chloe loves computers, robots and her Kindle Fire tablet. According to the Chloe, its is the most logical thing to do added to the fact that she loves bean bags, slides and go-karts. And that made her go ahead with the job application, and she went right at the top, the Google CEO. Meanwhile, Pichai’s reply was pretty encouraging for a child, as it concluded with the reply, “I look forward to receiving your job application when you are finished with school!”
Here is the letter, written by the seven-year-old:
Chloe’s father Andy Bridgewater shared Sundar Pichai’s reply in a LinkedIn post, and it has gone viral on social media.
Pichai had replied, “Dear Chloe, Thank you so much for your letter. I’m glad that you like computer and robots look and hope you will continue to learn about technology. I think if you keep working hard and following your dreams, you can accomplish everything you set your mind to — from working at Google to swimming in the Olympics. I look forward to receiving your job application when you are finished with school! 🙂 All the best to you and your family.”
