Tata Consultancy Services on Thursday announced its collaboration with one of the leading U.S Airline, JetBlue to optimise major business channels and enhance digital customer experience. As a part of the newly signed agreement, TCS is to manage several other programmes with JetBlue, including JetBlue’s IT platform in order to enhance operational agility. the TCS management will also help in improving data analysis, and develop innovative user-friendly tools for both customers and crew members.
TCS is also to expand its innovation centre over the next couple of years in Pune India. The intention of this extension is to support the important initiatives JetBlue and the TCS team in the USA and Mexico. Eash Sundaram, EVP and CIO of JetBlue in an interaction with the media said that JetBlue has a lot of confidence in TCS and the partnership only reflects it. Calling the TCS as the right partner for their needs of global talents and technology transformation, Sundaram said that they love TCS’ culture and their focus on the customers. He added that JetBlue values the extension as an important part of their team.
Meanwhile, TCS’ President of North America, UK and Europe, Surya Kant said that the companies need to replace their traditional mass market approach with a “segment of one” approach. He further said that organisations are needed to accept digital as a default. He stated that collectively with JetBlue, they could transform their function and standing in the competitive market.
JeBlue can not extract benefits from the TCS’ COIn Network. This involves access to TCS’s airline and digital innovation labs. This would help in identifying business challenges and opportunities. It will also help in formulating quick solutions to critical problems. TCS has emerged as a global choice for airline companies looking to reinvent themselves in the digital field.
