Low-cost carrier SpiceJet today said that it has achieved the highest Passenger Load Factor (PLF) in India for September, as revealed by DGCA statistics – PLF is a measure of aircraft seats utilization, it measures the percentage of seats filled.
Spicejet topped with a PLF figure of 93% for the month of September.
This is the sixth month in a row the airline has topped the charts in terms of PLF. It is also the fifth consecutive month SpiceJet has maintained a PLF of over 90%.
The airline has also bettered its OTP (On-time Performance) over the past few months and its OTP for the month of September stands at 85.1% as computed for its operations across the four metro airports of Bangalore Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai

Our On-Time Performance has also shown a significant improvement over the past few months. We are confident that our new winter schedule will witness the load factors and customer confidence trending in the right direction.”
