Snapdeal has appointed Anand Chandrasekaran as chief product officer. Chandrasekaran was previously working in the same role with Bharti Airtel, where he was responsible for product conceptualisation, design, driving strategic technology partnerships, etc.

At Bharti Airtel, Anand was known for his roadmap for Wynk Music and Airtel Money, among other digital products. He was previously with Yahoo!, where he led the mobile product and engineering teams to build unique mobile experiences, monetisation, content discovery and personalisation for products like Mobile Search, Y! TimeTraveler and Yahoo! Answers.
