Reliance Power Q3 net up 15% on operational efficiency

Total income for the period under review rose 17% on year to R2,985 crore, while operating income or EBITDA rose 2% to R1,155 crore. The company’s power plants across thermal, solar and wind segment generated little more than 11 bln units of power during the quarter, the company said.

Sasan ultra mega power plant in MP produced 7.7 bln units, Rosa thermal power plant in UP generated 2.1 bln units, while Butibori plant in Maharashtra generated 1 bln units. The renewable plants including two solar plants of 100 MW and 40 MW at Dhursar in Rajasthan produced 38 mn units, while the Vashpet wind plant generated 8.5 mn units.
