Ace filmmaker and founder of Comic Relief, Richard Curtis announced that the campaign aims to reach seven billion people in seven days with news of the Global Goals for Sustainable Development.
The unprecedented effort to launch Global Goals Campaign will begin on 25 September at the UN. 193 world leaders will adopt the Global Goals, which comprises a series of 17 ambitious targets to end poverty, fight inequality and injustice and tackle climate change for everyone by 2030.
Reliance Group being affiliated with enormous ventures and CSR activities is among India’s top private-sector business houses serving over 250 million customers across telecommunications, power, financial services, infrastructure, media and entertainment.
Founded by the late Dhirubhai Ambani, Reliance Group positively influences the lives of 1 in every 5 Indians across 400,000 villages and 25,000 towns.
Reliance Group’s partnership will extend to raising awareness of the new Global Goals for Sustainable Development to as many Indians as possible.
A seven-day pop-up global radio station will be streamed online with broadcast partners in over 45 countries by an original composition from Peter Gabriel from 26 September.
The campaign will feature shows presented by Hrithik Roshan and A R Rahman across the globe. The multi-award winning 92.7 Big FM, India’s largest radio network reaching 4.2 crore listeners across 45 stations in 1,200 towns and 50,000 villages will air unique content by Hrithik Roshan and A R Rahman .
Reliance Group’s support has been directed under the aegis of Tina Ambani, chairperson of Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and founder of Harmony Art Foundation.
