PHDCCI today appointed Rajeev Talwar, CEO, DLF Ltd as its new Vice President. Talwar was unanimously elected for the post in the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
PHDCCI today appointed Rajeev Talwar, CEO, DLF Ltd as its new Vice President. Talwar was unanimously elected for the post in the Annual General Meeting (AGM). Talwar is a Whole Time Director and CEO of DLF Ltd. and is responsible for the real estate business. “I am honoured to have been elected as Vice President of PHDCCI, I look forward to playing a meaningful role in further strengthening PHDCCI’s role as the voice of Indian industry and playing a catalytic role in the economic development of the country. We will work closely with the government on several issues and look forward to putting Indian industry and the country on the global map,” Talwar said after the announcement.
A 1978 batch IAS officer Talwar played vital role while holding key positions in Central and State Governments as well as Union Territories. He participated actively in the process of liberalisation, reforms and globalisation that took place in India from 1985 onwards, especially during 1991-96 era.
He has worked with many important Ministries including Ministries of Shipping, Ports & Road Transport; Coal, Civil Aviation, Tourism, Labour& Food Processing Industries.Presently as CEO he heads DLF’s real estate development in major cities across India. He is presently the Chairman of NAREDCO (National Real Estate Development Council).
