ONGC organized yoga camps in majority of its work centres on Sunday to mark the first International Yoga Day, envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and later passed through a resolution by the United Nation.
Responding to the call of the government, ONGC employees and their family members participated in large numbers in the camps organized in various work centres.
Earlier, ONGC Management had advised the employees to imbibe the benefits from this ancient Indian knowledge, which has been remarkably enriched through ages of experiments to achieve a healthy body and mind.
ONGC CMD, Functional Directors and other Senior Executives participated in various Yoga camps in the morning to observe the historic day.
ONGC family had organized in various places, including Dehradun, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Agartala, Rajamundhri, Greater Noida Yoga camps to celebrate this important day.
