Myntra’s chief technology officer Ajit Narayanan resigned on Tuesday, tweeting that he is moving on from the company Myntra to pursue his dream. In his place, the online fashion e-tailer has appointed former Amazon executive, Jeyandran Venugopal. Venugopal will be Myntra’s third CTO in less than a year. In November last year, Shamik Sharma quit as its CTO before Ajit Narayanan took over his role. Of late, Myntra has been seeing an exodus of senior executives. Co-founders Ashutosh Lawania and Mukesh Bansal too had left long ago. Head of commerce Prasad Kompalli and Abhishek Sharma, who were leading fashion brands in the company, have also quit. Jeyandran will assume office in the second week of June and report to CEO, Ananth Narayanan. He was earlier associated with Eclinic247, a consumer healthcare start-up that he founded in 2014 and served as its CEO. Venugopal was also one of the founding members of Amazon’s first offshore development centre in India that was set up in Bengaluru in 2004.
