Riding high on 41% growth in the first half of 2015, luxury car major Mercedes-Benz India has said it will better its performance in the second half. This could be possible through five more products and six more dealers. The company has lined up C663, AMG AT among the five new products to be rolled out in the next four months.
Addressing mediapersons on Wednesday after launching the new dealership, Eberhard Kern, managing director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz, said: “We hope to better the 41% growth achieved in the first half in H2. Given the festive season, which normally helps the industry to do better, coupled with new launches and new dealerships, Mercedes will witness one of the best years since its inception in India.”
The strong growth in the first half also has been due to new launches (10 products) as well classical (C,E,S classes), entry level A and B compact models as well SUVs.
