Knowledge@Wharton, the research and business analysis journal of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, has named Ganesh Ayyar, CEO, Mphasis to its advisory board. Mr. Ayyar will help Knowledge@Wharton to augment its social mission to provide free access to knowledge all across the globe. The Knowledge@Wharton network, through its websites and radio station, reach out to nearly five million people in more than 200 countries and territories on a regular basis.
Knowledge@Wharton network offers free access to knowledge in various formats including analysis of current business trends, interviews with industry leaders and Wharton faculty, articles based on recent business research, conference overviews, book reviews, links to relevant content and database of more than 6,300 articles and research abstracts.
Besides being a trustworthy reference source for business leaders, Knowledge@Wharton had ventured into providing content for high school students, educators and teachers five years ago. It has established a website, Knowledge@Wharton High School, with a mission to share knowledge about financial literacy, entrepreneurship, leadership and other business topics. The program has been growing rapidly with a focus on financial literacy for students at the bottom of the pyramid, initially concentrating on Africa and India and gradually expanding to other countries.
