Mobile advertising company Inmobi, which had launched Miip, a discovery platform for a curated collection of product feeds, apps and related content, aims to garner $1 billion in revenue over the next two years through the new platform. The company competes with Google and Facebook in the online advertisement segment and has dismissed rumours it was negotiating a possible acquistion by Google.

The company launched Miip at an event in San Francisco on Tuesday.

“Ads today have forgotten the protagonist of the story, the user. With Miip, we will put user ahead of everyone and deliver a consistent, personalised and content-rich experience that users will fall in love with,” Naveen Tewari, InMobi founder & CEO, said.

Miip creates discovery zones for consumers and presents a curated collection of product feeds, apps and related content with stunning visuals. Miip is currently in private beta with several partners including Spotify, MachineZone, JustFab, Joyus, Rhymeo, and Vidzy. The platform will be launched in India in August.

The platform which is in beta stage, has been incorporated with customer feedback like increasing the numbers of products displayed, more stories narrations and increase the number of swipes/interaction.Mobile advertising company Inmobi, which had launched Miip, a discovery platform for a curated collection of product feeds, apps and related content, aims to garner $1 billion in revenue over the next two years through the new platform. The company competes with Google and Facebook in the online advertisement segment and has dismissed rumours it was negotiating a possible acquistion by Google.
