InterGlobe Enterprises, the promoters of Indigo, on Monday invested Rs 6 crore in Trip38, a travel management app.

The investment was carried out through InterGlobe Technology Quotient, a business unit, and Singapore-based Lantern Capital.

Trip38 provides users itinerary management and travel information that is context-sensitive and acts like a local guide. According to the company, the app is global in appeal and hopes to disrupt the way travellers find and consume information once their booking is completed. Trip38 plans to expand its features and consumer base with the funding. Anil Parashar, president and CEO, InterGlobe Technology Quotient , will join the board of Trip38.     fe Bureau
