Viacom18 unleashes marketing blitzkrieg for Voot
Viacom18 has launched a marketing campaign for Voot, its digital VOD service. Voot will unleash a national marketing campaign with a special focus on six cities — Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad. The campaign comprises three TVCs with
different protagonists in each of the films — a woman, a child and a young boy. Voot is available on iOS, Android and web.
Dentsu Creative Impact strengthens creative leadership
Dentsu Creative Impact has roped in Anupama Ramaswamy and Akashneel Dasgupta as executive creative directors. They will report to Soumitra Karnik, national creative director, Dentsu India Group. Prior to joining Dentsu Creative Impact, Ramaswamy
was executive creative director at Cheil, Gurugram. Dasgupta’s last assignment was at ADK Fortune where he was heading
the creative function.
9X Media creates division for branded content
9X Media has flagged a separate division called Audience — Brand Connect (ABC) to handle the business of branded content for
the network. ABC will help brands narrate their brand stories beyond the 30-second ad format. The new division will develop bespoke advertising and promotion options for marketers across 9X Media’s music channels namely 9XM, 9X Jalwa, 9X Tashan, 9X Jhakaas and 9XO.
Sujata Dwibedy joins Carat India as EVP on the Mondelez biz
Carat India has roped in Sujata Dwibedy as executive vice president. As per her new mandate, Dwibedy will lead the Mondelez account at Carat. She will also work closely with the Carat APAC team. Dwibedy has more than 17 years of experience in the industry. Prior to this, she was head, business development at Omnicom Media Group.
Scarecrow bags creative duties for ALT Balaji
Scarecrow Communications has won the creative mandate for ALT Balaji, a digital venture from the film and television production company Balaji Telefilms. Mumbai-based Mangoblossom Design, a multi-disciplinary branding, design, and digital consultancy, will manage the brand identity of ALT Balaji.
