A career in the hospitality industry gives one the opportunity to live in different parts of the world. Every single day is a new experience in itself. Besides this, it is great that I get to learn about different people, cultures, traditions and their food! This is the best part about my job and I absolutely love it. While I love that I get to try different kinds of cuisines from all over the world, the exposure to so much great food leaves me with an increasing waistline!
My regular day starts at 8 am and stretches well into the night. My work is extremely interesting and that becomes my driving force everyday to achieve more to reach the pinnacle of success. After a long day at work, I look forward to a proper meal that re-energises me and completes my day. What I don’t look forward to is hitting the gym though I think there is definitely a need for me to get there (if I do get there!).
I enjoy my weekends as much as the weekdays. I like to wear the chef’s hat and prepare sumptuous meals, enjoying a glass of wine while I cook.
I have never been a gadget person.
Ever since my younger days, I have never been one for brands. My sole criterion for purchasing something is my liking towards it. If I like the look of something, I buy it regardless of which brand it is. For me, it is often the case of ‘can I use it’ and ‘do I need it’ before I spend on anything.
