FreeCharge, the payment unit of Snapdeal, in a bid to tap offline merchants has partnered with ePaisa that claims to have over 1,000 offline clients in food and beverage, retail, travel and other sectors.

FreeCharge, the payment unit of Snapdeal, in a bid to tap offline merchants has partnered with ePaisa that claims to have over 1,000 offline clients in food and beverage, retail, travel and other sectors.

“We aim to able digital payments everywhere, offline and online. Our partnership with ePaisa is in line with our goal to be the payment OS. Our UI and transaction experience ensures that consumers have the swiftest yet safest digital payments experience – over 99% of our transactions within 10 seconds,” said Govind Rajan, chief operating officer, FreeCharge.

Users paying through the FreeCharge wallet will also be able to avail offers such as cash-backs and additional discounts on spends at the registered merchants.
