Ola, the popular mobile app for transportation, today announced that 'Ola Shuttle' has been appointed as the official travel partner for the Delhi Summer Festival', an annual event celebrating Food, Comedy and Music organised by Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation.

People attending the festival between 24th June and 26th June from 11 am to 9pm, can avail free Ola Shuttle rides from Tilak Nagar Metro station to and fro the event venue, Dilli Haat Janakpuri.
Delhi Summer Festival is a three-day cultural extravaganza that is a treat for all senses and boasts of the Mango-eating competition that has been the major draw of visitors in the previous editions.
Ola has put up special kiosks near the Exit Gates at Tilak Nagar Metro Station. There is also a special counter that has been put up at Dilli Haat where people can avail a free ride back to the metro station.
Shri Kapil Mishra, Hon’ble Minister of Tourism, Govt of Delhi said, “This festival has been witnessing tens of thousands of visitors every year. This year, we have merged the annual mango festival with the first-ever summer festival. The free rides enabled by Ola will be a pleasant surprise for visitors attending the event.”

In Delhi, Ola Shuttle recently supported Government’s odd-even initiative by enabling free rides across the city for people on 2 days during the experiment.
Ola Shuttle also deployed 500 special buses on New Year’s Eve to help thousands of citizens in Delhi NCR reach home safely post partying and celebrations.
