The three new Suzuki products unveiled at the biennial event are - New Suzuki Access 125, Gixxer with disc brakes and Gixxer SF with fuel-injection technology.
Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) today unveiled three products at the Auto Expo 2016. Though these are not all-new products, but are facelifts or new variants of the company’s existing lineup. The three new Suzuki products unveiled at the biennial event are – New Suzuki Access 125, Gixxer with disc brakes and Gixxer SF with fuel-injection technology.
The Suzuki Access 125, unveiled at the Auto Expo 2016, gets a refreshed design and a few new features. Though there are no mechanical changes made to it. The new Suzuki Access 125 gets chrome finish, 3D emblem logo and rich bodywork. The 125cc scooter from Suzuki also gets optional front disc brakes and alloy wheels. Set to be launched in April this year, The 2016 Suzuki Access 125 will be made available in a total of 5 colours – Pearl Suzuki Deep Blue, Pearl Mirage White, Metallic Matt Fibroin Gray, Sonoma Red and Glass Sparkle Black.
The Japanese two-wheeler maker also displayed the Gixxer and Gixxer SF-Fi at its pavilion at the Auto Expo 2016. While the Gixxer is exactly the same bike that is on sale currently, it now gets rear disc brakes across all variants. The addition of the new rear disc brake caters to the rider’s safety and comfort, providing a stable and enjoyable ride for the urban rider. The Gixxer will now be mde available in a new dual-tone colour as well – Lush Green / Glass Sparkle.
Suzuki also showcased the Gixxer SF – Fi variant of the Gixxer SF at the Auto Expo 2016. The new variant is powered by fuel edge injection technology, which intelligently monitors and adjusts the air to fuel ratio to maintain optimal combustion conditions leading to efficient fuel usage and better throttle feeling. The fuel injection variant is available in the Gixxer SF MotoGP Edition
