Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) on Thursday launched the new Honda CB Shine SP at a starting price of Rs 59,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Honda CB Shine is the same ‘mystery’ bike that the company had teased at the Honda ReVFest earlier this year. Unlike rumours, the Honda CB Shine doesn’t replace the CB Shine as the company plans to sell both the models simultaneously.
Compared to the regular model, the Honda CB Shine SP looks a lot sportier and more upmarket with several design changes and new features. Having said that, the new CB Shine SP continues to feature the same 125cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine with Honda Eco Technology (HET) that does duty to the regular CB Shine as well. This engine, mated to a new 5-speed gearbox, churns out 10.57bhp at 7,500rpm and 10.3Nm at 5,500rpm.
Honda CB Shine SP Prices

Y. S. Guleria, Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. said, “With over 43 Lac Happy customers, the legacy of Shine is undisputed. Though CB Shine enjoys 46% market share, our plan is to further strengthen Honda’s leadership position in 125 cc segment.
