BCCI Secretary Anurag Thakur and Hyundai India’s MD & CEO Y K Koo signed the agreement at an official signing ceremony in New Delhi today. The company will remain the official partner of BCCI for all Test, One Day and T20 matches to be held over the next four years.
Under the agreement, a fleet of Hyundai cars would be used for transporting various stakeholders of the game throughout the tournaments. Besides providing the vehicles, Hyundai will also organise several activities during the tournaments to allow fans in different parts of the country to ‘Experience Hyundai’. The company will also conduct Trophy Tours with BCCI to build the excitement ahead of the tournaments. As per the agreement, the Korean carmaker will put in-stadium car display at team dug-outs during T20 matches.
