Out of all the cars to be recalled, 49,572 units are of Honda City, 7,504 of Jazz and 600 of the Civic that were manufactured between January 2012 - June 2013.
Honda Cars India that recalled over 2.24 lakh cars in September 2015 over faulty airbags, today announced to recall 57,676 more vehicles. As part of Honda’s preventive global recall campaign concerning airbag inflators, the recall in India is for the previous-generation Honda City, Jazz and Civic units.
Out of all the cars to be recalled, 49,572 units are of Honda City, 7,504 of Jazz and 600 of the Civic that were manufactured between January 2012 – June 2013. The replacement of the faulty airbag inflators will be carried out free of cost at all Honda Cars dealerships across the nation in a phased manner start from 20th February 2016.
