Power for the 2016 Suzuki Access 125 will come from the same 125cc engine, though it will offer improved mileage and performance due to the lighter frame.
At the Auto Expo 2016, Suzuki Motorcycle India showcased several products including the new Access 125. The popular 125cc scooter’s updated model will finally be launched in India tomorrow i.e. March 15, 2016. The company will initially sell both the pre-facelift and facelift model alongside and will discontinue the former gradually. Besides cosmetic changes, the new Access 125 will also receive a few mechanical updates as well.
The new Suzuki Access 125 gets a refreshed design with features such as chrome finish, 3D emblem logo and new graphics. The scooter will also be made available with an optional front disc brake and alloy wheels. At the Motor Show, the company also revealed that it will be launched with 5 colour options – Pearl Suzuki Deep Blue No.2, Candy Sonoma Red, Pearl Mirage White, Metallic Matt Fibroin Gray and Glass Sparkle Black.
Power for the 2016 Suzuki Access 125 will come from the same 125cc engine, though it will offer improved mileage and performance due to the lighter frame. This engine, mated to a CVT gearbox, churns out a maximum power output of 8.58bhp at 7000rpm and a torque of 9.8Nm at 5000rpm. New features on offer will be updated alloys, optional DC socket, telescopic front forks, digital instrument cluster with a display screen.
Since the new Suzuki Access 125 will get several new features, we expect it to price a little higher than the outgoing model.
