According to documents by US Congressional investigators, Assad regime in Syria has dropped chemical weapons on civilians or rebel fighters in at least 29 incidents in 2014.

According to the Washington Times, the use of chemical weapons exploited a loophole in the Obama administration’s deal with Damascus that left chlorine on the table as a weapon.

House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Ed Royce is set to assert that Syrian President Bashar Assad’s forces have recently “stepped up” the use of such bombs on innocent civilians in opposition-controlled areas.

Royce also plans to say that these attacks have become unending and aim to decimate the middle class in Idlib.
